Breakthrough Skill Development offers a variety of skill specific programs for players all year round.
Our Strictly Shooting program focuses exclusively on shooting and scoring skills. Students receive instruction on basic shooting fundamentals, analyze goal scoring opportunities from the player and goaltender's point of view, and progress through game simulation drills.
Personalized instruction and ice time are maximized by our low student to teacher ratio and by utilizing a station format. In groups of 4 to 6 players, students receive quality instruction and a high number of reps within each drill.
This program gives players the foundation to improve their shooting power, accuracy, and release time. Along with increased confidence and a better understanding of goal scoring situations, these shooting skills effectively enhance a players scoring ability.
