Off Ice Skills

In the off ice portion of our camp, students progress through a skills circuit working on stick handling, shooting, passing, hand eye coordination, balance, agility, peripheral vision and more.

On Ice Skills

The first portion of each ice session is dedicated to skill development with a focusing on proper technique. Students progress through a variety of drills throughout the week in this segment working on stick handling, skating, passing and shooting.

Small Area Games

The second and major portion of each on ice session is devoted to small area games. These games are designed to allow our students to take what they’ve learned in the skill development
segment and apply it in a realistic game situation. Small area games promote the intangible “hockey sense” skills like creativity, reading and reacting, and anticipation. Within the confined area of the game players handle the puck more, learn to play in tight situations, are constantly involved, and have fun while learning and developing these skills.
